The Patented Track
is a monorail track beam invented from a “T” section
and a running flange. Its distinguishable feature is the “hardness”
of its load bearing surface and the ability to bend into curves
without deformation of the beam’s load bearing surface. In
the material handling industry, a great need developed to handle
heavier loads over longer spans with a better rolling surface. The
name derived from its original patent. The composition is in accordance
with the MMA specification utilizing a composite track section incorporating
a proprietary bottom flange shape. The truss of any crane or monorail
system is the three-piece rail.
CCE, Inc. - Crane and Hoist proudly uses the Patented Track in
their overhead bridge crane designs for heavy material handling.
This allows mobility and safety to operators in the manufacturing
plants. Some tracks have advanced into automatic controlling of
the movement of the material handling versus manual movement of
days past. Although there is still a need for both, the future holds
promising safety features and material handling positioning improvements.
